Today’s Topic: 7 spiritual laws of success
I just completed the book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success”.
Here’s what I learned about using these laws to create success in the form of achievements, and personal fulfillment.
Law One: The Law of Pure Potentiality
Rumi once said “You are not a drop in the ocean; you are the entire ocean in a drop.”
We are slivers of “God” or “The Universe” in human form.
Because of that, when we take time for stillness and to connect to ourselves we tap into unlimited potential and possibility.
The wisdom of the infinite is available to us if we take time to listen, and from that place we can speed up our success by “co-creating” with the source.
Takeaway: Practice meditation for at least 30 min per day, along with non-judgement (of others, situations, or myself). Let things be as they are, don’t try to control.
Know that The Universe has a plan that you can’t see, and trust it.
Law Two: The Law of Giving
Giving is based on exchange. If I give to others for the sake of giving alone, I will receive what I give and more.
Abundance circulates through the giving of joy, service, and material goods. We can tap into the flow of abundance by participating in the cycle of giving, and receiving.
Takeaway: Give to others in every interaction through the form of gifts, compliments, or silent prayers for their benefit.
Law Three: The Law of Karma (Cause and Effect)
What we do, gets done to us. The things we put out into the world, will come back.
Takeaway: Make decisions, and take actions with intention. Adopt the mindset of “does this benefit me, and all of those involved?”
If it does, go forward with the decision or action. If it doesn’t, don’t do it.
Law Four: The Law of Least Effort
In the book he talks about how birds don’t try to fly, and grass doesn’t try to grow. They just do.
Stop “trying” so hard. Instead, realize that it is your nature to create. You are built to bring forth anything you desire.
Tap into the highest emotions, and motivations available to you:
- Do things out of love, and passion rather than ego.
- Stop seeking approval from others, and validate yourself.
- Open your mind, and heart rather than defend yourself against others.
These are some examples, that when done allow you to unlimit the energy you use to create.
Takeaway: Take responsibility, and always take the higher road. When this is done; I will be able to do less, and still accomplish more.
Law Five: The Law of Intention and Desire
We can’t control outcomes, or the process of our desires coming to life.
We can only focus our attention on what we want, and “ask” for it through our intention.
90% of obstacles we encounter are illusions. Remember that anything you experience on the way to getting your intention (desire) is apart of the process.
Takeaway: When you ask for what you want, the entire universe conspires to bring it to you. Have faith, and stay focused on the intention.
Law Six: The Law of Detachment
You can’t be afraid if you aren’t attached.
Let go. When we are attached to a person, outcome, or desire we repel it. When we detach, and trust that all will work out as it should – we become magnets.
Takeaway: Let go, have faith, and things will come to me rather than me chasing them.
Law Seven: The Law of Dharma (Life Purpose)
Every single person on this planet was put here for a unique purpose.
You have a unique gift, or talent you can share with the world.
Tapping into this talent, and being in service to others with it is the ultimate prize in life.
We can find our Dharma (purpose) by learning more about ourselves.
Takeaway: Our lives aren’t random, or meaningless. We are here for a purpose. Our primary purpose is to find our unique talent or gift, and share it with the world.

Today’s Tip: The mental shift that’s made me $1,200,000+
Can you let yourself suck at things?
Are you okay with the idea that you might fail, and make an ass out of yourself?
How often do you put yourself in a position to be embarrassed?
Long ago, I decided I cared more about reaching my potential than looking dumb.
It was the most lucrative thing I ever did, and not only in terms of money.
I realized that nothing was more important than me living with purpose, and making the most out of my life.
The truth is that other people don’t care, and even if you make a fool out of yourself others will forget.
They are to wrapped up in their own life, and problems to be hyper-focused on yours.
So, let me ask you again…
Can you let yourself suck at things?
Are you willing to bet on you, and be a total beginner?
If so, there is nothing you can not accomplish.
Sooner or later, you’ll figure it out.
It feels damn good when you do.
I am rooting for you.
Today’s Takeaway: My weekly planner
Here is the weekly planner I use.
Planning used to be a weakness, but is quickly becoming a strength.
I hope it does the same for you, click this link and make a copy.

Today’s Thought: The higher self

“Connected to my higher self, yeah, that’s the God in me.”

You’ve most likely heard that we are “made in the image of God.”
Does that mean God is a man or woman in the sky? No.
We are, unlike the other living being on this planet, blessed with the creative power of God.
Now, “God” has thousands of names but in reality is nameless.
- The Universe.
- The Creator.
- Father Sky.
Etc.
Our higher self is the divinity (God) within us.
It’s the part of us that is pure, and has unlimited power.
We, like “God” can create what we desire.
- The phone you use was an idea in someones mind.
- The clothes you are wearing began as a thought.
- The situations in your life, were born in your mind.
You are the co-creator of your life.
Staying connected to our “Higher Self” means remembering the truth…
Even Jesus acknowledged it:
Psalm 82:6 reads, “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons (or daughters) of the Most High.’
Religion aside, all great spiritual masters of all time spoke about it.
We are not physical beings, capable of a spiritual experience.
We are spiritual (and infinite) beings, having a physical experience.
Remember who you are at your core, and life becomes yours to create at will.
Today’s Tribute: My first mentor
Each week I am going to give a tribute to someone special:
- A member in the community
- Impactful people in my life
- One of my clients kicking ass
This week I am shouting out my oldest brother Wes.
I believe everyone is on their own “Hero’s Journey”.
Our lives are like a movie, or fantasy book when we treat them as such.
My brother Wes was the first “Wise Wizard” that took me under his wing.
He taught me so much at a young age, and helped me realize the importance of learning from those that come before us.
- By age 6 I worked on computers, and played complex video games like World of Warcraft.
- By age 8 I could hold in depth conversations with grown adults, and read 7-800+ page books like Eragon.
Essentially he helped me become incredibly smart, and was one of the few people that protected me as a kid from an abuser.
I owe who I am today to him giving me a competitive advantage from a young age, and for leading the way.
Who was your first mentor? What did you learn from them?
Let me know by replying to this video.
