Today’s Topic: Move with a purpose
Besides the path that society laid out before you, do you actually know where you are going?
If I asked you what you are working towards, and you couldn’t say “a good job, a family, and retirement” what would you say?
Most people wouldn’t know how to answer this question. They have engrained into their minds the commonly walked path:
- School
- Work
- Family
- Retire
Now, I am not saying that none of those things are necessary. What I am saying is, what’s most necessary is you knowing:
- Where you are headed
- What you are working towards
- Why you do it all in the first place
It’s YOUR life. You are the captain of your ship. You are the only one that can, and will navigate the life you are living.
You choose the destination, and it’s your responsibility on whether or not you arrive.
Move through your life with a purpose.
A sense of urgency, and a clear vision of where you are headed.
Because if you don’t… someone else will decide for you what your destination is.
You will end up like the majority of people on their deathbed with regret.
Today’s Tip: Finding your vision
What would you do with your life if I gave you a billion dollars, today?
- What would you buy?
- What would you spend your time on?
- Who would you spend your time with?
- Would you go back to work tomorrow, or not?
When you aren’t focused on surviving, you begin to realize what actually matters to you.
Your vision is your primary burning desire : The thing that you want the most.
Combined with clarity of how you would feel when you achieve it : The vivid after effect you can tap into whenever you think about it.
My mentor taught me that a vision consists of:
V – Value (must align with your core values, and purpose)
I – Illogical (you don’t know how to do it, but believe you can)
S – Specific (it’s black and white, not grey)
I – Inspirational (something that comes from your spirit – means something to you)
O – Obsessed (you deeply desire it, and think about it constantly)
N – Noticeable (when it’s realized, you would have tangible evidence you achieved it)
When all of those things align, you have a vision.
Some of the greatest people that have walked this planet ALL have one thing in common: they had a vision.
|
|
“When your vision is powerful enough, everything else falls into place: how you live your life, your workouts, what friends you choose to hang out with, how you eat, what you do for fun. Vision is purpose, and when your purpose is clear, so are your life choices. Vision creates faith and faith creates willpower. With faith, there is no anxiety, no doubt – just absolute confidence.
No matter what you do, you first have to have a vision… to see your goal, to believe in it, have faith in it and chase it. And then it’s fun to chase it. If you don’t have a goal or a vision, then you have nothing.”

What is your vision? Find it, and your life will never be the same.
Today’s Takeaway: Vision workshop
Today at 12pm MST I am doing a live workshop on this very topic (Vision).
Those that attend (or get their hands on the replay) will leave with a clearly defined vision, and an action plan to bring it to life.
They will join the greatest people who had a clear vision, and went on to change their lives & inspire all those around them with their achievements.
In the past I had visions to:
- Earn $1,000,000 by the time I was 25 years old. I achieved it.
- Beat my genetics and not be anorexic. I’ve become buff lol.
- Change the lives of others. I’ve changed 12+ at least.
If you want in, or want access to the replay…
Today’s Thought: Save yourself
|
|
“Doctors won’t make you healthy, nutritionists won’t make you slim, teachers won’t make you smart, gurus won’t make you calm, mentors won’t make you rich, trainers won’t make you fit. Save yourself.”
Naval Ravikant

The world could hand you everything you need on a silver platter… but you are solely responsible for what you do with your life, and yourself.
Be the hero of your own story.
Save yourself.
Today’s Tribute: He did what at 19?!
Each week I am going to give a tribute to someone special:
- A member in the community
- Impactful people in my life
- One of my clients kicking ass

Today, Meet Lucas Delvo
(yes he is the crazy bastard that challenged me to run 10 miles and wake up at 430AM the other day LOL!)
|
I met Lucas doing a challenge called The Misogi.
It was meant to be the hardest thing you do all year, for Lucas it was just another day of the week.
Lucas was the youngest graduate of a 75 Hour Challenge called The Modern Day Knight. Essentially, for 75 hours straight you go through hell week and push yourself to the brink of madness.
They had an age limit, but somehow Lucas sweet talked them into letting him join anyways – and he was one of the only people out of the class of 25+ Men that made it.
The crazy part? Lucas grew up without a father, and has had every single reason to let life beat him into nothing.
Instead, he has made life his Bitch. I am honored to be his brother.
When I need a kick in the ass, or to chat with like minded people: I call Lucas.
I’ve seen him grow, and dominate the insurance industry along with pay it forwards to others every step of the way.
Find yourself a Delvo, and your life will level up dramatically.
Luckily for us, Lucas just joined my Break The Cycle Tribe.
If you want to get around bad ass Men and Women beating the odds every single day, come join us.
