Today’s Topic: What is your paradigm?
One of my mentors has been the late Bob Proctor.
Bob was one of the most respected experts on the subject of the mind, and improving the results people created in their lives.
He taught that our results are a reflection of our paradigm, and without upgrading it we can’t improve our results.
Paradigm (Para-dime) is a fancy word to describe our belief system and perspective.
We create our lives based on our paradigm, and most of us didn’t choose it for ourselves.
Society, your families, teachers, and friends all installed their paradigm deep into your mind… and unfortunately it was not ideal to excel in life.
It gave you things like:
- Insecurities and limiting beliefs
- Fear and judgement
- Shame
But, you can change it at any time.
When we change our paradigm we change our life, and the results we create in everything we do.
It will improve our relationships, finances, wellbeing, and quality of life.
The simplest way to change your paradigm is through repetition (similar to how it was formed).
The second way is a strong emotional impact.
- This could be in the negative from a traumatic experience.
- This could also be from something positive like a breakthrough from plant medicine, Breathwork, or therapy.
More on this another time, for now consider:
What is my paradigm?
How is it influencing my behavior?
Where is it not serving me?
Today’s Tip: The paradigm of a winner
This week I gave a talk to my Real Estate students.
It was all about “being a winner”.
Here’s the notes from that call:
You are a winner.
“Before you can do anything you first have to be it”
“First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.” – Epictetus
The worst thing you could be is a “loser” working hard.
The best thing you could be is a “winner” – because they automatically do the following:
- Take action.
- Believe they can do it.
- Have confidence in themselves.
Be → do → have.
It isn’t cocky, or arrogant to say that about yourself.
Everyone needs the reminder from time to time, so here is yours… you are a winner.
You kick ass at all you do.
You constantly improve.
You get results.
You don’t let setbacks discourage you from what you want, or where you are headed.
You win.
Period.
Even when things don’t go your way… you still learn and grow, so therefore you win.
Today’s Takeaway: Let’s get to know each other
I have a desire to connect personally with my readers.
- Your problems.
- Your goals.
- Your story.
I know the more I get to know you, the better I can create valuable content to serve you.
Below, you can book a call with me for 15 minutes.
On this call you can ask me for any advice you want or need, and I’ll be a listening ear to hear about you.
Today’s Thought: Don’t be a victim to yourself
Beautiful reminder from Bob.

Today’s Tribute: Nut up or shut up
Each week I am going to give a tribute to someone special:
- A member in the community
- Impactful people in my life
- One of my clients kicking ass
Today I want to tribute the brave Men that went all in to join my retreat this week.
A lot of people talk about the things they “want” to do:
- I want to solve xyz problem in my life.
- I want to become a better person.
- I want to get around better people.
- I want to stop struggling.
And many more things I hear people want.
But, very few people act.
I am proud of, and grateful for these Men for being action takers.
For doing something about what they want for themselves and their lives.
It takes metaphorical “balls” to do so.
Gavin – I am so glad we met in a bathroom over a year ago, and proud of your growth. You are a true friend, and leader.
Lucas – I am grateful as hell we met doing the Misogi challenge, and am constantly inspired by your mindset and character.
Chad – I am lucky to have a genuinely great guy like you in my corner. I’ve known you my whole life, and I am inspired by who you’ve become and the person you are.
Aaron – I am geeked out by how much you’ve grown man.
You have completely changed as a person since I’ve met you, and I am honored to be alongside you on that path.
And to you, my reader:
I am grateful to have you here, and hope through my work I inspire you to bet on yourself.
To make the changes, and be your best self.
Much love.
