Today’s Topic: Start, then learn. Don’t learn, then start
There is a painful mistake that myself, and many people make.
It costs us years in the long run.
Wanting to do something but not executing on it.
- Wanting to start a hobby
- Wanting to start a business
- Wanting to change something in your life
You’ve been thinking about it, or “learning about it” for years. But, you haven’t really done anything about it.
There are hundreds of steps along the way to do the thing. We fixate on step 2-100+, instead of doing the only thing that makes sense.
Step 1.
You can’t figure out everything before you start. You have to take one step, then another, and another and as you do that you will figure out the answer to your questions.
“You can’t turn a car unless it’s moving”
What can you do right this minute to take action on your “thing”?
- Send the text to a person about it
- Go buy the resource you need
- Write a resignation letter
- File the llc
Whatever it is: Start, now.
Today’s Tip: Why settle for a salary, or hourly wage?
I heard recently that 3/4 people are stressed out financially.
Worried about their financial future, and some about how to make ends meet this month.
I’ve been there, and I can firmly say it is one of the worst feelings.
- Limited on your choices because of money
- Feeling stressed, and uncertain because of money
- Settling for a lifestyle, because of money
So, how do we solve for this?
In my experience, the first step is to get out of working for a salary or hourly wage.
How do you expect (or does anyone expect) to free themselves financially that way?
- You aren’t “rewarded” for harder work
- You are at the mercy of your employer to make more money
- The jackasses you work with make almost the same as you, but you aren’t like them
Again, how do we solve for this? What can you do to free yourself financially?
You have four choices.
I like to call it “Multiprenuership” (Multi-preneurship).
Here’s how I would define it:
A multi-preneur is an individual who values freedom, growth, and high earning potential in their career. They avoid the “traditional” path of hourly or salaried work in exchange for opportunities that allow them to combine one or more primary ventures with a high skillset in personal finance. This approach uncaps their potential for financial freedom, personal fulfillment, and professional success.
A Multi-preneur values:
- Freedom: the ability to choose; being independent, and unrestricted.
- Growth: the potential to evolve, and improve through ones work.
- High Earning Potential: the opportunity to consistently earn more money; not limited.
Everyone should be a Multi-preneur, because no matter what career you are in you have two “jobs”.
- Your chosen profession(s).
- Your personal finances.
You can crush it at “work”, but if you suck at personal finance you will be broke.
You can be great at “personal finance”, but if you don’t make a lot of money who cares how much you save or invest.
When you combine one type of “preneurship” (see below) and personal finance, you can earn as much as you want.
Here’s your options:
Entrepreneurship – An entrepreneur starts and runs their own business. They hire employees, bring ideas to life, and take risks for new opportunities.
Examples:
- Restaurant Owner
- Saas Company Founder
- Product Manufacturers
Intrapreneurship – An intra-praneur is a person that works inside a company, but thinks like an entrepreneur. They get rewarded for adding value to the company, while using it’s resources to create opportunity for themselves.
Examples:
- Salespeople
- Product Developers
- CEO’s
Solopreneurship – A solopreneur runs their business without employees (can still use contractors for example). They do mostly everything on their own, and enjoy working independently.
Examples:
- Freelancers
- Solo Real Estate Agents
- Content Creators
Personal Finance – Personal finance is managing your own money.
- Investing
- Saving
- Budgeting
As you can see, there is way more opportunity for your career. Don’t settle.
The majority of people would be best suited for intrapreneurship, because you can piggyback off someone else’s company.
I personally have had experience with all of the above.
- I was a car salesman, and used the dealership to start a mini “business” with my own clientele. This earned me $80k at 19 years old.
- I have been a real estate agent, and have had employees as well as done it solo. This earned me $1,000,000 so far.
- I have practiced personal finances for a long time. I’m not perfect, but I have saved up to $100k.

Today’s Takeaway: Craft your vision
Last week I did a workshop with a few people in my community to help them craft a Vision.
Having a Vision is like using a GPS for your life and results… you will get there much faster than just “driving” around hoping you find your destination.
My mentor charged me $8,000 to learn his processes like this one, and consistently charges people $8-10k to help them create a Vision (and mission statement).
Having a Vision is the reason I have grown so much, and accomplished many things over the years, but had I used this process… I would be lightyears ahead of where I am now.
I am in the process of improving my process, and will be upgrading what I did in this workshop to be more in depth.
Because of that, you get it today for free. Enjoy, and let me know when applying it changes your life.
If you don’t use this, that is dumb. Watch it on 1.5-2x speed, if needed.

Today, I’m Shouting Out Aubree
My lover, and adventure buddy.
|
Not for her being a great girlfriend (even though she is), but because this week she did something huge!
For those that don’t know, Aubree runs a business working as an Executive Assistant for several business owners.
In short, she helps unorganized, overwhelmed, and overworked business owners. Her job is to free up their time so they can go earn more money doing what they enjoy.
She also builds out in depth systems, marketing, and other high value services for business owners.
This week, she earned several thousand dollars. Earlier, I mentioned the whole “Multi-preneurship” thing… Aubree is a walking talking example of that.
Previously, she was stuck working an hourly job barely making ends meet.
Now, she is thriving as a soloprenuer
- She earns more money
- She sets her own hours
- She works remotely
- She chooses her own clients
How awesome?
I am proud of you Aubree, keep kicking ass.
For those of you that felt inspired by this letter, and want to make upgrades in your career: Let’s talk for 15 minutes and I’ll help you make a plan.
